Hi! I'm Wendy, but I also go by Vinegar. I'm in my mid 20s and a they/xem. How I identify with gender is to sorta take a little of this and a little of that from the two categories that society *cough*cough* white supremacy has created while also throwing in a dash of my own thing. I won't pretend that I don't have certain privileges that allow me to take such a laissez-faire approach to my identity, but I would also say that I blatantly ignore a lot of things and people seem to respect that for the most part.

I'm into all sorts of stuff, but I made a website specifically to have a place to talk in a more long-form format. I have a lot of thoughts and most social media these days force brevity on you in a way that I don't really care for. Especially since the culture now is that for every opinion you give you need a full paragraph if not two clarifying in order for people to not take you in bad faith. And then they do anyway. So whatever. At least here no one can comment unless I say so. Ha!

I honestly see my actual posts being shorter than this for the most part, but at the same time I specifically got a mechanical keyboard that I enjoy typing with in order to make me a more efficient typist, so I don't know how accurate that will turn out to be. The main downfall here is that I mainly use mobile since I hate my computer set-up but can't really change it. Which is a bummer and something that I just have to live with. But I do love the idea that the next time I have big thoughts on something that I have a place to put them, and no reactions to see, so maybe this will suit me just fine.
