Hi! I'm Alex, but I also go by Vinegar because lord knows of the 8 billion people on this planet 500 million seem to be named Alex. I'm in my mid 20s and a they/xem. My gender identity is an enigma to even myself and changes often enough, but I get by alright by being silly and pleasant.

I'm into all sorts of stuff, but I made a website specifically to have a place to talk in a more long-form format. I have a lot of thoughts and most social media these days force brevity on you in a way that I don't really care for. Especially since the culture now is that for every opinion you give you need a full paragraph explaining the nuances of your stance so that people don't purposely misconstrue you. And then they do anyway. So whatever. But there's no comment box on my blog, no sir. >:)

I don't post often, but that's okay. I mostly see this being a chunk updates space for myself and for others, because that's usually how I journal. I've never been good at consistency. But I also appreciate having a place for more long-form info-dumping that's relatively low effort. Like, a blog post doesn't require hours of script writing and editing to talk about something. I can just freaking post it. Just writing the damn post is hard enough! As evidenced by not having any!! But the imaginary barrier between me and getting in deep on my computer is the only real issue. So, maybe I just need to punch the air hard enough to see that it's not there. I don't know.
